Most of us don’t end up sticking to our resolutions for very long after a new year begins. By the end of the year we probably won’t even remember what our resolutions were. So this year try making some New Years Renovations. Its a good time to clean out your life of people and traits that were holding you back last year to make room for new ideas and new motivations and new people that will help you reach your goals. We should really be doing this all through the year, but we tend to get comfortable and set in our sluggish ways. It might seem silly or cliche, but a new year is as good a time as any to start trimming the fat in our lives. Literally and figuratively.
A simple way to do this is to let the new year give yourself and others a clean slate. Give everyone, yourself included, the chance to show you what they have to offer that’s new and exciting. Forget what they’ve done to you in the past year and forget what bad traits you’ve accumulated and then if the negativity continues, you’ll know it’s time to make some serious changes. At least you will have given everyone a fair shot.
